L A Huffman Photos-Hand Coloring

In the Branding Pen c. 1890's

Hand-coloring: before the advent of color film in the 1930's, when color was desired, photographers - or their assistants - tinted images by hand, using both oil-based pigments and watercolors. While most of Huffman's colored production was enlarged photos, we know he colored at least a limited number of every format he used.
